Our videos are all hand-drawn. Only at the end, we use software to animate the content. To learn more about our production steps, visit patreon.com/sprouts
In early 2020 we made all our content available under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC-SA license. This means that if you are a non-profit organization, government agency, public school, or private person without commercial interest, you can download, edit, and share our videos free of charge. You can also embed our videos in your online courses, upload them to your website, or use them for training. Just make sure you always credit us as: ”Video by Sprouts (https://sproutsschools.com)”
Yes, you can purchase a 3-year license for an individual video at $150 USD. Just send us the money to donate @ sproutsschools.com via Paypal, and add the video you want to purchase. Yes. All our drawings are original and the products of our creative team.
We are doing our best to make our content available to as many people as possible, but we only speak so many languages. If you, or someone you know, would like to help us provide subtitles for our videos or help localize our content into your local language, don’t hesitate and get in touch with us.
We are open to suggestions on specific topics. If we feel that the topic fits our channel, we will likely produce it. To speed up that process you can become a sponsor. Sponsorship includes a direct link to your website under the video and a scene about your organization at the end of the video. You can see how this would look in our video: 8 Stages of Development by Erik Erikson which was sponsored by Minute Videos. If you have a serious proposal ready, get in touch.
Yes, as long as the course is free of charge and there is no commercial element associated with your course.
Of course! The best way to go about it is for you to write the first draft and we will have a look through it. You may use one of our latest videos as a template (you can always find our scripts available in the video description). As for the topic, we are happy for you to choose, but please note that it would be preferable if it were from the fields of pedagogy, psychology, or sociology.
We make our videos with our friends from MinuteVideos. Check out their website for more information on prices, workflow, and creative options to make your own explainer videos
Currently, we don’t make individual videos for third parties unless they can also be published on our channels.
Spread the word, subscribe and join our wonderful Patreon community 🙂 If you want to also help out creatively, get in touch with us and, let us know what you would like to do for us, and send us a sample of your work. We are always happy to welcome proofreaders, scriptwriters, and seasoned translators who are willing to donate their time.
Yes. If we think that topic fits and teachers and students could benefit from us explaining it, this is possible. To produce one video we need around 1,500 USD, but even 30% of that can help us get started with research and writing. If you want to donate a topic, please contact us.
